update: heres the pic. theyre inspired by cinnamon rolls. made out of blue foam square and plaster using only a sanding machine, paintbrush, and sand paper.

The second project was the fun one. We had to create a toy for children based on the findings/thoughts/drawings/etc of Leonardo Da Vinci. I made a puzzle (for like a 2 year old) that is in the shape of a human body (that brown thing is just a background its not part of the puzzle) and the puzzle pieces are the organs in your body. Each organ had a dowel handle on it, and on the back is a number 1-6. The child must match the number on the organ to the number on the body. I did this because a) the puzzle is layered and therefore piece number 1 (stomach) must be put in first, etc, and piece 6 (heart) last. Otherwise the pieces wont fit. The colors of the numbers also coordinate with the colors of the organs so they learn not only numbers and body parts but also colors! yay. I cut the layers out with the laser cutter which was my first time and it was waaay cool. Oh how a laser cutter could have saved me hours of torture in high school. Specifically a certain cardboard building based on Rene Magritte. Oi.
sorry for the fuzziness on the second one. dont enlarge it if you have a sensitive stomach.
